Draft-Your-Own Skirt Pattern

Workshop Description
NOTE: This is not a sewing workshop. After taking this workshop, you will walk away knowing how to draft your own skirt pattern, and will have an example in half-scale when done.
Using a worksheet, attendees will use their own measurements to draft a half scale sloper skirt. Once it’s drafted, we will walk through some easy skirt pattern alterations – A line skirt, princess, and tulip.

- We will not be sewing in this class but creating a set of instructions to create your own pattern at home. During the class I will be using sewing pattern terminology so this is best for a sewist who has made clothes for themselves. Skill level: confident beginner, must have knowledge of sewing patterns
