Workshop Description
With a few basic measurements and a little bit of math, we’ll introduce some very basic pattern drafting skills and conquer our fear of sewing with knit fabrics by drafting a custom fit boxy tee that is sure to be a wardrobe staple for years to come. Knowledge/Equipment Required
- This is an intermediate sewing project with a focus on introducing pattern drafting skills. Students should come prepared with basic sewing machine knowledge (threading the machine, sewing straight seams, cutting pattern pieces, using the iron, etc), middle school math skills will also be heavily utilized in our pattern drafting.
