Betsy Greer is a writer, speaker and workshop facilitator from Durham, NC. In 2003, she popularized the idea that craft and activism (craftivism) are interconnected. Since then she’s worked and connected with people from all over the globe about the ways in which textile skills, can be used (and have been used) to create change, agency and transformation. She believes that through craft and DIY we can foster conversations and rhizomes that connect us to ourselves, our communities and the world. She’s always up for new conversations about how craft can be used to heal ourselves and the world.
