AJ Young

AJ Young is co-owner of Co-Create Studio based in Fennville, MI. AJ’s teaching experience runs from textiles & fiber art, to general crafting, to the university classroom. He has been crafting since he was very young, but reignited his love of making things in 2014 while working on his dissertation. AJ dabbles in pretty much anything with fiber or textiles – sewing, knitting, quilting, etc. – but also has a longstanding love for printmaking & mixed media, especially when fabric is involved. AJ has worked in university administration for 15+ years – where he thinks a lot about learning, teaching, and organizational systems. AJ is also a PhD and Certified Life Coach. He loves talking about the business of creative businesses – which are also creative!
