Mae Tingstrom

Mae Tingstrom is the boss lady of Red Kettle Coffee in Summerland, CA and Smitten Bookstore in Ventura, CA. She knew at a young age she wanted to own her own business having grown up with her dad being a small business owner. Mae felt passionate about creating a business that would serve a community and support other local and small businesses. Red Kettle Coffee was the only coffee shop in Summerland CA for many years, selling locally roasted coffee and locally handmade and small business retail. Building an arts and culture community was Mae’s next passion, that’s when Smitten Bookstore was born. Smitten is focused on supporting women and nonbinary authors, creators and hosting many events and workshops.
